Rec and Park Sign Ups

'26 Overview

San Francisco Recreation & Parks Department’s (SFRPD) Individual SFYBL RPD Team 2026 Registration is for players who want to play SFYBL Baseball or SFRPD Softball but are not associated with an Independent Team. This registration is done individually through the SFRPD Website.

Priority Registration will open on Wednesday, November 5th at 10:00am for anyone returning to their 2025 Mustang, Bronco, Pony, or Girls’ Softball teams.

General Registration will open on Wednesday, November 12th at 10:00am.

To register, please go to sfrecpark.org/register, log in or create a new family account, search "SFYBL" or “Softball”, and look through the various available practice age/location/day/time options. The options will be posted on the registration page a week prior. You can also see the Preliminary options on the link below. Select whichever option works best for you, then follow the steps to complete the transaction. Please be advised, many of the teams typically fill up within minutes, so please be ready to go before 10:00am. A league representative will be in touch with instructions and a unique link to join your team’s SFYBL LeagueApps Site/App by the end of the year or once we’re full, whichever comes first. Your child must be on that team site in order to participate. Here’s a link to a list of the available teams and key information:

Please note:

SFRPD Approved Volunteer Coaches will be asked to step up as Head Coaches, Assistant Coaches, or Team Parents (or just Fans!) with the Shetland T-Ball, Shetland Coach-Pitch, Pinto Kid-Pitch and Softball Division teams. When registering for a roster or Waiting List, please indicate whether or not you’re willing to be a (1) Head Coach, (2) Assistant Coach, or (3) Team Parent. We’ll then follow up with more details. Equipment, practice space, uniforms, training, along with back-end and on-the-field support, will be provided.

SFRPD Coaches will be assigned to all Mustang, Bronco and Pony teams and we will ask for SFRPD Approved Volunteer Coaches to step up as Assistant Coaches or Team Parents.

*If you’re interested in Coaching an RPD team or setting up an Independent team of your own, you must join us for the Pre-Season Managers and Coaches Zoom on the evening of November 5th from 7:00-8:30 (the link will be on the main page of sfybl.com. The management and registration of each will be discussed, and any questions can/will be answered. The link will be available on our homepage.

Please direct any questions about RPD teams to sfybl@sfgov.org and be sure to check your spam folder for emails from this address, especially, if you're new to the league.
