SFYBL Will Keep OLD AGE STANDARD of May 1st for 2018 SEASON

Due to significant hardship for many players and teams, SFYBL has decided NOT TO ADOPT the new PONY Age Standard of September 1st for the 2018 season. Therefore the age brackets for our divisions for the Spring of 2018 season will revert back to the April 30th/May 1st cutoff and are outlined below. Shetland T-Ball (4U-6U): DOB between 5/1/2011-4/30/2014 Shetland Coach Pitch (5U-7U): DOB between 5/1/2010-4/30/2013 Pinto (7U-8U): DOB between 5/1/2009-4/30/2011 Mustang (9U-10U): DOB between 5/1/2007-4/30

Important Update: New Age Brackets

During the PONY International Board of Directors meeting, a decision was reached to change the date for determining player eligibility from April 30 to August 31. The rule change will take effect at the start of the 2018 PONY Baseball season. This decision was reached after careful consideration of input from leagues, parents, coaches and other sources important in the decision-making process. By making our program younger, all players will be competing on a level playing field. This change will ensure all
