Potential Field Closures for Saturday, March 24

With lots of rain this week and an uncertain forecast for Friday night, please check to see if your field will be open for play on Saturday, March 24. You can refer to our page What if it Rains?

A few fields have been proactively closed due to saturation The following fields will be closed Saturday, March 24, rain or shine:

  • Potrero Hill
  • Sunset Recreation Center
  • Polo Fields
  • St. Mary's

The following fields are closed:

  • Potrero Hill
  • Louis Sutter
  • Rolph
  • Larsen
  • Sunset Rec
  • Polo Fields
  • Excelsior
  • St. Mary’s
  • Holly Park
  • West Sunset D1
  • Crocker (all diamonds) 
  • Upper Noe
  • Eureka Valley
  • Laurel Hill
  • YBC (Young Blood Coleman)

For all other fields, definitely be ready to play, and check back throughout the morning until your game time.

Please note that if it rains heavily tonight, all fields will be closed with the exception of turf fields. The only turf field that will be closed due to rains will be the Large Diamond at Silver Terrace, due to the dirt mound.

If the weather holds up we should be able to get some games in!
